Dr. Harold Hall served Mississippi State University as the Dean of Students for 28 years. Thousands of students were guided and mentored by Dr. Hall during those years. His steady leadership was invaluable as he dealt directly with many students during difficult times in the history of MSU. Dr. Hall's wisdom and gentle manner and his steadfast commitment to the values and principles of Mississippi State were evident in his consistent ability to balance student discipline with development. Dr. Hall was also very active in the Student Affairs profession as he served in leadership roles in professional associations and mentored many other young professionals. He served alongside Dr. Jones, Dr. Ruby and Dr. Foster in building and growing the Division of Student Affairs during its first three decades.
